Ductile grey cast iron with increased tensile strength

Abstract

The subject of the application is ductile grey cast iron with high tensile strength used in industries related to the machine industry, sheet metal stamping, energy, railways, etc. GJS-750-2 grey cast iron containing by weight: 0.35 ÷ 0.55% Mn, 0.03 ÷ 0.08% Mg, < 0.05% Cr, < 0.01% V, is characterized in that it additionally contains by weight: 3.20 ÷ 3.45% C, 2.35 ÷ 2.65% Si, 0.7 ÷ 1.50% Ni, 0.30 ÷ 0.50% Mo, 0.40 ÷ 0.70% Cu. Gray cast iron GJS-650-3 containing by weight: 0.35 ÷ 0.55 Mn, 0.03 ÷ 0.08% Mg, < 0.05% Cr, < 0.01% V, < 0.05% Ni, < 0.01% Mo, is characterized by the fact that it additionally contains by weight: 3.20 ÷ 3.45% C, 2.35 ÷ 2.65% Si, 0.40 ÷ 0.70% Cu.
