Device for foaming asphalt binder

Abstract

The subject of the application is a device for foaming asphalt binder having a heated cylindrical tank (1) with a drain (1.1) in the end part, a cover (1.2) with an asphalt inlet (1.3) in the initial part of the tank (1), and an exhaust port (1.4) in the initial part of the tank (1). Inside the tank (1), on its axis, there is a shaft (2) in the form of a tube with holes located on its lateral surface, to which shaft (2) are attached mixing blades (2.1, 2.2). The shaft (2) is connected to a foaming agent dispenser and is coupled to a rotary drive (3). It is characterized in that the axis of the tank (1) is inclined to the ground at an acute angle (α). The end of a lift (4) mounted on the ground is attached to the outer lateral surface of the initial part of the tank (1). The first mixing blades (2.1) are in the shape of a screw ribbon, while the second mixing blades (2.2) are located at the end of the shaft (2) and form a propeller.In the end part of the tank (1) before the drain (1.1) there is an overflow or discharge partition (1.5) with a slot (1.6).
