Device for regulated foaming of asphalt binder

Abstract

The subject of the application is a device for controlled foaming of asphalt binder, comprising a heated cylindrical tank (1) with a drain (1.1) at the end, a cover (1.2) with an asphalt inlet (1.3) at the beginning of the tank (1), and an exhaust port (1.4) at the beginning of the tank (1). Inside the tank (1), along its axis, there is a first shaft (2) in the form of a tube with holes located on its side surface, to which first shaft (2) first mixing blades (2.1) are attached. The first shaft (2) is connected to a foaming agent dispenser and is coupled to a rotary drive (3). Inside the first shaft (2), there is a coaxially located second shaft (4) in the form of a tube, which is driven by an independent drive (5) and at the end of which second mixing blades (4.1) are attached. It is characterized by the fact that the axis of the tank (1) is inclined to the ground at an acute angle (α).The end of the lifter (6) resting on the ground is attached to the outer side surface of the initial part of the tank (1). The first mixing blades (2.1) are in the shape of a worm ribbon, while the second mixing blades (4.1) form a propeller. In the final part of the tank (1), before the drain (1.1), there is an overflow or discharge baffle (1.5) with a slot (1.6).
