Abstract

The subject of the application is an in vitro testing system for measuring the strength and / or mobility of biokinematic chains, shown in the drawing. This system allows for the simulation of the actual performance of the entire biokinematic chain or parts thereof—joint mobility, i.e., the combination of joints, muscles, and bones that constitute a specific motor system. The application also concerns a method for measuring the strength and / or mobility of fragments or entire biokinematic chains, particularly tendon tissues, and for the simulation of the actual performance of fragments or entire biokinematic chains. The application is applicable to the study of preserved or fresh specimens collected postmortem from human or animal bodies. The application is applicable in the analysis of the efficiency of the musculoskeletal and joint movement apparatus, especially the movement of the human spine, and can be used as a substitute instrument that replicates movements performed in anatomical positions in the sagittal, frontal or transverse plane, including the behavior of individual parts of the human spine, including ligaments, tendons and muscles associated with the human musculoskeletal apparatus.
