Air deflector, in particular for tractor units

Abstract

An air deflector, particularly for tractor units, which is mounted in a vehicle combination (1) and has devices for automatic curtain rolling (4, 5), is characterized in that it consists of a rotating-sliding upper aerodynamic shield (6) and rotating side aerodynamic shields (7) attached to the walls of the second vehicle's body using pins. Inside the upper aerodynamic shield (6), a device for automatic rolling of the upper curtain (4) is mounted. Devices for automatic rolling of the side curtains (5) are attached to the inner surfaces of the side aerodynamic shields (7). The end of the upper curtain (4) is attached to the end part of the fairing (1.3) of the first vehicle (1). The ends of the side curtains (5) are attached to the side air guides (1.2) of the first vehicle (1).
