Disc gear mechanism for a traction-driven wheelchair

Abstract

The subject of the application is a disc gear mechanism for a traction-driven wheelchair. The mechanism consists of an internal gear disc (6) attached to the hub of each driven wheel, with holes in the internal disc, which is connected by means of a replaceable connecting pin or by means of a disc connector (9) cooperating with a sliding mechanism (8), with an external gear disc (7) and holes in the external disc so that they can cooperate on different diameters, wherein the sliding mechanism (8) can slide on the disc connector (9); furthermore, the internal gear disc (6) and the external gear disc (7) have a common disc bearing (10).
