Abstract
The subject of the application is a voltammetric immunosensor for detecting pathogens, which comprises an electrode modified with a first antibody specific for the detected pathogen, which binds the detected pathogen to the electrode surface, and a second antibody for the detected pathogen labeled with a redox tag, which binds to the detected pathogen bound to the electrode surface, characterized in that the second antibody is specific for the detected pathogen. The application also concerns a method of detecting a pathogen using the voltammetric immunosensor, a method of manufacturing the voltammetric immunosensor, its use in detecting viral pathogens, particularly the SARS-CoV-2 virus, as well as a redox tag used in the construction of the voltammetric immunosensor.
