Centrifugal force test device

Abstract

The subject of the application is a centrifugal force testing device, intended to demonstrate the effects of this force and for use in physics laboratories, particularly student and school laboratories. The centrifugal force testing device comprises a base (1) in the shape of a rectangular plate placed horizontally and made of plywood, to which three tracks are attached, placed in a vertical plane, oriented along the longer side of the base (1).Each of these tracks consists of an upper part (2, 3, 4) having the shape of a rectilinear section inclined at an angle of 50° - 70° to the base (1) and in the first track the lower end of the upper part (2) is connected to the beginning of the middle part (5) having the shape of a circle, the lowest point of which is attached to the base (1) and the end of this circle is connected to the beginning of the lower part (6) having the shape of a rectilinear section placed on the base (1) and provided with a valve (7) in the shape of a vertical plate made of textolite and attached to the end of the lower part (6). In the second and third track the lower ends of the upper parts (3, 4) are connected to the beginnings of the middle parts (8, 9) having the shape of the letter U with a height equal to the diameter of the circle forming the middle part of the first track (5).The upper ends of the U-shaped arms are closed by horizontal sections (10, 11) connected to the U-shaped arms at rounded corners and the lowest point of each of the central sections (8, 9) is attached to the base (1).
