Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for producing granulated perlite from perlite waste, which is characterized in that perlite dust and cement are introduced into a disc granulator in such an amount that the ratio of the volume of the introduced perlite dust to the volume of cement is in the range of 1 - 3, then granulation is carried out at the rotational speed of the granulator disc of 10 - 25 rpm for 5 - 20 minutes with simultaneous spraying of the granulated bed with water as a moisturizing substance at a temperature of 10°C - 21°C, in an amount of 2 - 5 parts by weight per 10 parts by weight of the bed, then an additional portion of cement is applied to the bed flowing in the drum in an amount of 1 - 2 parts by weight per 10 parts by weight of the initially supplied perlite and cement and granulation is continued for another 5 - 10 minutes.
