Abstract

The invention is a method for producing deeply knurled and varnished PVC floor covering, which is prepared after the gelling chamber as a web of unrefined material. The method is characterized in that the unrefined material gelled in the chamber, constituting a standard, mechanically non-creased solid or foamed floor covering with a thickness of 1.05 mm - 4.00 mm and a temperature of 130°C - 160°C on the bottom and 170°C - 190°C on the face side, is surface cooled on cooling rollers to a temperature in the range of 26°C to 46°C, and then a water-based polymer varnish is applied to its face side, which is a 30% to 40% aqueous dispersion of polyurethanes and acrylates in an amount of 20 g / m 2 up to 30 g / m 2then the material is directed to a convection dryer to evaporate the water, where it is heated to a temperature of 92°C, and after leaving the dryer and evaporating the water from the varnish, the face side of the material is heated and plasticized with infrared radiators on the surface in the face temperature range from 140°C to 165°C, then the material is pressed on rollers in a kneading device to a depth of 50 - 500 microns, with the kneading rollers and the support roller being cooled with ice water at a temperature close to 5°C, then the material is subsequently stabilized, reaching a surface temperature of 36°C to 43°C, after which the varnished face surface is cross-linked with UV radiators so that after leaving the UV dryer the temperature of the material does not exceed 89 - 102°C,and then using one circumferential cooling roller with a cooling water temperature of approximately 10°C, the lining is cooled to a temperature of 44°C and the cooled and stabilized material is directed to the compensator and coiler where it is rolled onto rollers.
