Abstract

An automatic machine for sorting bottles and plastic caps, enabling settlement for the returned bottles or caps, comprising a housing, an executive module, a vision module with a screen and a communication module (24) with a control center, characterized in that the executive module has an opening for bottles (5), behind which there is a bidirectional belt feeder (6), above which there is an industrial camera (7) mounted for identifying the presence of the bottle, its color and light transmittance capacity, and underneath there is an inductive sensor (8) with a system for identifying ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic objects based on the phenomenon of magnetic induction, intended for identifying impurities, and at the end of the feeder (6) there is a container (9) equipped with a capacity sensor (10), at the bottom of which there is a three-phase plastic grinder (11) for crushing bottles into particles,below which there is a belt feeder (12) connected to an upwardly directed belt-screw feeder (13) transporting the trim to a container (14) with a capacity sensor (15) and a strain gauge weight sensor (16) placed under the container, and a cap opening (17) also with a belt feeder (18), an industrial camera (19) for identifying the presence of a cap, thread geometry, with an inductive sensor (20) and a container (21) with a capacity sensor (22) and a weight sensor (23). A method for sorting plastic bottles, characterized in that after inserting the bottle into the opening (5) for bottles and after verification consisting in analyzing the indicated properties and comparing them with a standard stored in the control center, and if it is negative, including if the bottle has a cap, the bottle is returned to the opening (5), whereas in the case of positive verification it is dropped into a container (9) with a grinder (11),and then the trimmings are transferred via feeders to the container (14), and after it is filled, the machine operating staff is notified via the communication module (24) and the container (14) is emptied, while information about the return process and the initial sorting of bottles and its result is displayed on the screen of the vision module.,
