Method for producing nanometric complexes of alendronic acid stabilized by calcium cations

Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for producing nanocomplexes of alendronic acid with calcium from alendronic acid and salts containing calcium cations, in which a solution of alendronic acid in a solvent is mixed with a solution of a calcium salt in the same solvent. The subject of the application also is a pharmaceutical composition containing nanocomplexes of alendronic acid with calcium cations, in ordered or amorphous form, and its use in the prevention or treatment of osteoporosis.
