Swimming ergometer

Abstract

The subject of the application is a swimming ergometer having a frame (1) with rollers (2, 3) attached thereto, on which the ropes rest, and the ergometer having a bench (4). It is characterized in that it consists of a basic frame (1), attached to the edge of the tank, to which a shaft (6) is rotatably attached by means of a boom through a bearing housing (5), to which resistance blades (7) are attached transversely. The axis of rotation of the shaft (6) is arranged vertically, and a drum (8) is attached to the upper part of the shaft (6), on which a drive rope (9) is wound. A sensor (10) of the angular position of the shaft (6) is mounted in the axis of rotation of the drum (8). Each part of the driving rope (9) is supported by a set of rollers (2, 3) attached to the arms of the basic frame (1) by means of a set of force measuring transducers (11) (Fx, Fz) in the horizontal axis (x) and the vertical axis (z).The shaft (6) angular position sensor (10) and force (Fx, Fz) measuring transducers (11) are connected to a recorder (12), which is connected to a computer (13). Preferably, the thrust blades (7) are attached to the shaft (6) by a blade tilting mechanism relative to the longitudinal axis of the shaft (6).
