Abstract

The subject of the application is a retention and biofiltration complex for the urban landscape space, applicable in blue-green infrastructure.A retention and biofiltration complex for the landscape space of the urban tissue, equipped with a reservoir, a well with a pump and a set of irrigation sprinklers, controlled by an electric controller, covered with greenery, including bushes and trees, has the shape of a one-sided open reservoir (1) made of a water-impermeable material, embedded in the ground or placed on its surface, with side walls equipped with at least one overflow (2) determining the height of the water table in the control well (4) and in this reservoir (1) filled with aggregate being a decompression-adsorption bed with the ability to absorb water so that the water table is below the root part of the plants (3) enabling capillary absorption and accessibility for the root system, uptake of water by the feeding roots, dividing the decompression-adsorption bed into a sub-absorption area and a water-saturated area.
