Abstract

A hammer for separating hot charge material in the form of a cylinder from the hot side in induction heaters used, among others, for heating the charge material to a temperature above 1000°C for the hot die forging process, formed from a mandrel (1) with a head at its end, characterized in that the lower working end of the head (2) of the hammer is in the shape of a half sphere, the mandrel (1) of the hammer is combined with a pneumatic actuator (3) moving the hammer, which is mounted on one end of the mounting arm (4), wherein the head (2) of the hammer is made of nickel and chromium alloys with the addition of aluminum, and wherein the pneumatic actuator (3) moving the hammer has an impact force in the range of 200-800 N.
