Abstract
The subject of the application is a hybrid filament comprising a mixture of a polymer with a metallic admixture, characterized in that the polymer is glycol-modified poly(ethylene terephthalate), and the metallic admixture is powdered 316L stainless steel in an amount of 1% to 35% by weight of the dry polymer. A method for producing a hybrid filament for additive manufacturing, comprising extruding a polymer with a metallic admixture, is characterized in that glycol-modified poly(ethylene terephthalate) granulate and powdered 316L stainless steel in an amount of 1% to 35% by weight of the dry polymer are extruded to obtain a hybrid filament, wherein the extrusion is carried out at a temperature of 220°C to 250°C.
