Abstract

A self-locking device comprising a drum for winding a safety rope, rotatably installed in a housing, wherein the drum is associated with a rope tensioning system for regulating the rope tension by rotating the drum and a ratchet locking system for blocking the drum rotation, is characterized in that it further comprises an electronic locking system (20) comprising at least one movable pin adapted to move the locking system pawl (15) into a position of engagement with the rack of the self-locking device housing and a microcontroller for controlling the movement of the pin via the drive system (22).
