Imidazolium salt derived from lithocholic acid for cancer treatment and method for its production

Abstract

The subject of the invention is an imidazolium salt, being a derivative of lithocholic acid, of structural formula 1: wherein X is selected from the group consisting of: I, Br, Cl, and R is selected from the group consisting of unbranched and branched alkyl groups: -CH3, -C2H5, -C3H8, -C4H9, -C5H 11 , -C6H 13 , -C7H 15 , -C8H 17 , -C 12 H 25 , -C 16 H 33 , for use in the treatment of cancer. Further subjects of the invention are an imidazolium salt, being a derivative of lithocholic acid, with the structural formula, wherein X is selected from the group consisting of: I, BrCl, and R is selected from the group consisting of unbranched and branched alkyl groups: -C3H8, -C4H9, -C7H 15 , -C8H 17 , -C 12 H 25 , -C 16 H 33 , a method for preparing the imidazolium salt according to the invention and its use as a medicine.
