The subject of the application is a vehicle drive axle housing comprising permanently connected left and right axle shaft housings, a housing body, hub or steering knuckle mounting flanges, and holders, mounts, and saddles for vehicle body and chassis elements, characterized in that the housing body (3) comprises a polyhedral housing (4) permanently connected to the base (8) of the housing body (3). The polyhedral housing (4) is made of a single element cut from a flat sheet of metal forming at least five or more odd numbers of segments. The element cut from the flat sheet of metal takes the form of a spatial dome as a result of the bending process.
