Abstract
The subject of the application is a Möbius strip model for educational purposes, particularly in open educational facilities such as experimental centers, exploratory centers, and experiment gardens. The Möbius strip model comprises a strip, twisted once by 180° along the strip with one apparent side change point, made of a high-resistance ferromagnetic sheet, preferably a 4% silicon steel sheet. The ends of the strip are joined together by bringing them together and butt-welding them, with the weld being ground to the thickness of the strip. The strip is placed in a plane diagonal to a base, which is shaped like a rectangular plate, oriented horizontally and made of a non-ferromagnetic material.The belt is connected to the base by two vertically oriented brackets in the form of rectangular bars, the lower ends of the brackets being press-fitted into holes cut in the base, while the upper ends of the brackets are connected to the lower edge of the belt using epoxy adhesive. A spherical rolling marker adheres to the belt surface, its axis perpendicular to the belt edge. The rolling marker comprises a spherical housing consisting of two hemispheres (7). The hemisphere (7) is provided with a rim (9) with an internal thread, while the hemisphere is provided with a rim (10) with a thread, and the hemispheres (7) are connected to each other by screwing.
