Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for obtaining 1-arylalkylphosphonium salts of formula 1, wherein R is Ph, 3-C6H4Cl, 4-C6H4OMe; X is BF4 or TfO; R1 is Me, Ph, CH2Ph, 4-C6H4OMe, CH2Cl, Ar is 4-C6H4OMe, 2,4-C6H3(OMe)2, 2,4,6-C6H2(OMe)2, 2-thiophenyl, 3-indolyl, which consists in that acetals of formula 2, wherein R1 is Me, Ph, CH2Ph, 4-C6H4OMe, CH2Cl; R2 is Me, Et;is heated at a temperature of 100°C to 150°C with phosphonium salts of formula 3, in which R is Ph, 3-C6H4Cl, 4-C6H4OMe, X is BF4, TfO and aromatic compounds, preferably with anisole, thiophene, 1,3-dimethoxybenzene, 1,3,5-trimethoxybenzene, indole in a molar ratio in the range of 1:1:1 to 1:1:3, in organic solvents or without using a solvent, the process is carried out for 2 h to 6 h, then the crude 1-arylalkylphosphonium salt is precipitated with diethyl ether or hexane, then preferably recrystallized from acetonitrile / diethyl ether, methylene chloride / diethyl ether or purified by column chromatography using acetonitrile as the eluent;
