Abstract

A cartridge magazine for a firearm in the form of a self-loading rifle or carbine, made of a body (1) which ends at the bottom with a butt plate (2) and inside which a cartridge chamber is formed along its entire height, which ends at the top with a loading window (4), a cartridge slide mounted in the cartridge chamber, a spring braced between the butt plate (2) and the cartridge slide which pushes the cartridge slide towards the loading window (4) and a full load indicator (7), characterized in that the full load indicator (7) has the form of a pin extending downwards from the bottom surface of the cartridge slide, which, in the extremely lower position of the cartridge slide, is inserted into a through inspection hole formed in the butt plate (2) and is passed through the above through inspection hole with its lower end led out to the bottom surface of the butt plate (2).
