Abstract
The method of producing construction material using waste rubber powder, subjected to grinding, pyrolysis and mixing, is characterized in that the basic rubber material (1) in the form of butadiene-styrene rubber is packed into a preliminary mill (2), in which it is ground by means of preliminary knives (3) into a preliminary fraction in which the dimensions of a single ground element are not more than 80 mm, then the rubber material (4) so ground is transported to the first station of inductive sensors (6) which detect and remove larger metal inclusions contained in the pre-ground rubber material (3), and then the pre-ground rubber material (3) freed from larger metal inclusions is transported to the main mill (8), in which it is further ground into a coarse fraction by means of main knives (9),in which the dimensions of a single crushed element are not more than 40 mm, and then the crushed rubber material (10) is sent to the second station of inductive sensors (11), which detect and remove the remaining metal inclusions that may be present in the crushed rubber material (10), and then the crushed rubber material (10) free from metal inclusions is sent to the storage yard (13), from where it is transported to the granulator (15), in which, with the participation of at least one sieve (16) having a mesh diameter of not less than 3 mm, the crushed rubber material (10) is subjected to granulation and then it is sent to the oscillating screen (12), in which the proper granulate (18) is produced, at the same time in the granulator (15), next to the proper granulate (18), a by-fraction is formed in the form of rubber fines, the bulk density of the resulting rubber fines being from 460 to 500 kg / m3, and the grain size does not exceed 0.8 mm,The resulting rubber powder is then sent to the rotating chamber of a pyrolysis reactor, where it is pyrolyzed until a solid mass of rubber powder is obtained. The rubber powder is then mixed with Portland cement, sand, water, and a binder in a mixer. The resulting mixture is then sent to a vibropress, where the mixture is densified using a liquefier. The resulting slurry is then poured into a mold. Once the solid product has been obtained, it is removed from the mold. The subject of the application also covers the construction material produced by this method.
