Abstract
The subject of the application is a composition of active substances in the form of lithium chloride and resveratrol and its use in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Parkinson's disease. The composition contains lithium chloride and resveratrol, where lithium chloride is present in the range of 0.1 - 20 mM, and resveratrol in the range of 1 - 100 µM. The composition of active substances containing lithium chloride and resveratrol is used in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Parkinson's disease. The composition of the compounds used causes the removal of α-synuclein aggregates, has strong antioxidant effects, and protects and repairs neurons from damage at the molecular and cellular levels.
