Abstract
The subject of the application is a method for producing biocidal and hydrophobic natural and synthetic fabrics by modifying them with a solution of silicone resins with triclosan (5-chloro-2-(2,4-dichlorophenoxy)phenol, Irgasan) for use in the clothing, medical, upholstery, and technical and protective textile industries. A method for producing bactericidal and hydrophobic synthetic and natural fabrics using compositions based on silicone resins with triclosan, characterized in that the process of immobilizing triclosan of formula 1 in a siloxane resin of formula 2 is carried out, wherein the process is carried out in three stages: in the first stage, the fabrics are subjected to a mercerization process, preferably for 10 minutes in a 10% NaOH solution at room temperature, and at the same time, the synthesis of a siloxane resin is carried out based on the process of hydrolytic condensation of an alkyltrialkoxysilane, preferably methyltrimethoxysilane in an organic solvent, preferably tetrahydrofuran in a volume equal to the mass of the silane used, in the presence of water in an amount of 10% of the mass of the silane used in an alkaline or acidic medium by adjusting the pH using ammonia water NH4OH or hydrochloric acid HCl, preferably ammonia water used in an amount of 3% of the mass of the silane, the process is carried out at room temperature for 12 to 48 hours, preferably 24 hours, then the organic solvent and the alcohol formed during the condensation process are evaporated under reduced pressure from the post-reaction mixture, then in the second stage a solution is prepared from the obtained resin with a concentration of 1% to 20%, preferably 5% in an aliphatic or aromatic organic solvent, preferably tetrahydrofuran, to which 0.1% to 20% of triclosan, preferably 1%, and 0.01% to 0.1% of an organotin or organotitanium derivative condensation catalyst are added, preferably 0.05% tetrabutyl titanate,in the third stage, the solution is mixed until homogeneous at room temperature and then applied to a natural or synthetic fabric, especially polyester, by spraying or immersion, and then the impregnated fabric is dried at room temperature.,
