Abstract

The invention solves the problem of obtaining green plant extracts free of green pigment by selectively removing chlorophyll A from extract samples using magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (MNPs) and obtaining MNPs modified with chlorophyll A. Furthermore, the invention relates to the isolation of lutein from acetone extracts of green plants by removing the remaining components using MNPs.
