Assembly of a grip and guide block of sliding transducers, especially for mobile ultrasonic flaw detectors for testing railway rails

Abstract

The subject of the application is a holder and guide assembly for a block of sliding transducers, particularly for mobile ultrasonic flaw detection devices for testing railway rails, comprising a support element for mounting to the chassis of a measuring vehicle and a sliding transducer, characterized in that the support element is a support strip (3) attached to the measuring vehicle longitudinally, parallel to the running surface of the rail (11) on which the measuring vehicle moves. Guide brackets (1) directed towards the running surface of the rail (11) are attached perpendicularly to the support strip (3), having longitudinal through holes, inside which pushers (4) are placed.In the lower part of the parallel guiding brackets (1) there are oppositely located guiding windows in which the guiding pins (6) of the block of sliding transducers (2) located longitudinally above the running surface of the rail (11) are mounted, which sliding transducer blocks (2) are pressed by the guide pins (6) to the running surface of the rail (11) by the pushers (4). The edges of the guiding windows limit the movement of the guiding pins (6) towards the running surface of the rail (11).
