Layered polymer system, method of its preparation and use for storing electrical energy

Abstract

The subject of the application is a layered polymer system which is characterized in that it consists of 20% to 80% by mass of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) and 80% to 20% by mass of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxypyrrole) (PEDOP) arranged in layers in the PEDOT / PEDOP order. The application also covers a method for obtaining a layered polymer system, which consists in subjecting an aqueous solution containing from 0.5 mg / ml to 4.0 mg / ml of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) and from 100 mM to 1000 mM of electrolyte to an electrochemical polymerization process to obtain a coating (PEDOT), which is then immersed in an aqueous solution containing from 0.5 mg / ml to 4.0 mg / ml of 3-4-ethylenedioxypyrrole (EDOP) and from 100 mM to 1000 mM of electrolyte, which is then electrochemically polymerized to obtain a coating (PEDOP), and arranging the thus obtained coatings in layers in the PEDOT / PEDOP order. The application also covers the use of a layered polymer system.
