Masking mat and method of its production

Abstract

A camouflage mat with a layered structure, consisting of sheets of functional materials stacked one on top of the other, between sheets of fabric, the outer surfaces of which are printed with a camouflage pattern, and the inner layers contain elements that conduct and reflect infrared radiation. The middle layer of the mat is a sheet of metallized thermal foil sandwiched between sheets of cotton fabric coated on the outside with a layer of non-flammable, flexible thermal paint containing silver nanoparticles and air bubbles. An acoustic insulator sheet adheres to each layer of thermal paint, and fabric sheets covering the camouflage mat adhere to its outer surfaces. The outer surfaces (2) of the camouflage mat cover are printed with a camouflage pattern. The edges of all inner sheets and the mat cover sheets are joined together by a seam.The method of manufacturing a masking mat consists in applying a layer of previously prepared thermal paint to a sheet of properly prepared cotton fabric and securing it with a coating of abrasion-resistant emulsion, and then arranging sheets of functional materials forming the mat in the manner described above, sewing the edges of all sheets with cotton thread and sewing hooks and Velcro to the outer surface of the mat.
