Abstract

The subject of the application is a device for mounting a sample in ultra-high vacuum (UHV) measurement systems. The device consists of a transfer carrier (1) with a cavity (2) in which a sample (3) is placed, immobilized by a pressure element (4) attached to the carrier surface (1) using screws (5), wherein the pressure element (4) additionally masks or reveals a selected area of ​​the sample. In the first version of the device, the cavity (2) is square-shaped. In the second version of the device, the cavity (2) is oval-shaped.
