Ignition assembly for wax-paraffin candles, especially cemetery candles

Abstract

The subject of the application is the design of a flame-ignition assembly for wax-paraffin candles, particularly cemetery votive candles. The assembly is equipped with a body (1) with double walls, bent at an angle along the longer sides and facing upwards. The lower layer of the horizontal wall (4) of the body (1) is embossed with a convex portion facing the interior of the body (1). The surface of the lower layer of the horizontal wall (4) is covered with a layer of friction material (6) on the inside, along section (A). Inside the body (1), between the upper layer and the lower layer of the horizontal wall (4), a slider (8) with diagonally cut edges (9) and axially arranged notches (10) is slidably mounted. On the opposite side of the diagonally cut edges (9), a layer of powdered sulfur (11) is applied to the inner surface of the slider (8). The section (A) of the friction layer (6) is spaced from the section (B) with the layer of the incendiary substance (11) by a distance H.
