Ignition assembly for wax-paraffin candles, especially cemetery candles

Abstract

The subject of the application is the design of a flame-igniting assembly for wax-paraffin candles, particularly cemetery candles. The assembly consists of a cap (1) shaped as a flattened cylinder with a handle (2) at the top, releasably mounted on a wick (3). The inner surface of the cap (1) is covered with a friction layer (4) over a section of height (A). An igniting substance (5) is applied to the surface of the wick (3) over a section of height (B). The friction layer (4) is arranged below the igniting substance (5). Both layers, the friction layer (4) over a section of height (A) and the igniting substance (5) over a section of height (B), are arranged at a safe distance (H) from each other. Their outer layers are located in the same plane (P) parallel to the axis of the wick (3).
