Abstract

The subject of the application is an arm cuff for measuring arterial blood pressure, in which the inflatable working part (2) of the cuff (1) has a length (x) and a width (y), which is characterized in that the width (y) of the inflatable working part (2) of the cuff (1) is less than 45% of its length (x), wherein the width (y) is not greater than half of the arm length measured between the anthropometric points acromiale and radiale, and the length (x) of the cuff (1) is between 75% and 100% of the value of the arm circumference.
