Device for demonstrating the operating conditions of lift force

Abstract

The subject of the application is a device for demonstrating the conditions of action of aerodynamic lift force. The device for demonstrating the conditions of action of aerodynamic lift force comprises a base (1) in the form of a horizontally oriented rectangular plate with two vertically oriented flat bar brackets (2, 3) parallel to each other and attached to the base (1) near its two shorter, opposite sides in such a way that the lower ends of the brackets (2, 3) are press-fitted to the base (1) by means of grooves and adhesive. The upper ends of the brackets (2, 3) have through holes in which cylindrical pins (4, 5) are located, oriented horizontally, coaxial with each other and capable of rotation in the holes of the brackets (3, 4). One of the brackets (2) has a vertically oriented threaded hole into which a screw (6) with a knurled head made of metal is manually screwed. The lower end of the screw (6) is pressed against the pin (4) placed in the bracket (2).Between the supports (2, 3) there is a vessel in the shape of a tightly closed and evacuated cuboid, wherein two opposite side walls of the vessel, i.e. the front wall (8) and the rear wall (9) are directed vertically and arranged parallel to the supports (2, 3) and the ends of the pins (4, 5) are connected to the side walls (8, 9) by pressing the ends of the pins (4, 5) into holes made in the centers of the front wall (8) and the rear wall (9) respectively and smeared with glue.
