Abstract

The subject of the application is a gas collector module and a method for replacing the gas collector in a furnace. The module comprises a thermally insulating partition (2) located on an annular gas collector (3) with nozzles, located on the collector support and attached to the mold feed drive (5), at the height of the crystallizer (14), while on the circumference of the gas collector (3) with nozzles there are at least four evenly and symmetrically distributed positioning holes for receiving positioning gas tubes (9), which form part of the locking mechanism.
