Abstract

The application concerns an electrochemical biosensor for detecting dopamine in aqueous solutions, for use in medical diagnostics, and a method for its manufacture. The electrochemical biosensor for detecting dopamine is characterized in that it contains a protein active layer—laccase immobilized within nanofibers of bovine serum albumin and polyethylene oxide deposited on a platinum electrode, wherein in the electrospun solutions the mass concentration of bovine serum albumin is 8.4% - 9% (w / w), the mass concentration of polyethylene oxide is 1.0% - 1.5% (w / w), and the concentration of laccase is 2 - 6 mg / ml.
