Abstract
The subject of the application is a multi-cell, self-regenerating DC energy battery, the primary field of technology for which is electrochemistry, particularly in the production and operation of batteries and accumulators storing DC electricity. The battery has a body (1) divided internally by transverse bulkheads into sealed chambers filled with electrolyte (2). The walls of the bulkheads and the front and rear walls of the body (1) are provided with openings in which sealed, acid-resistant bearings (7) are mounted, through the central opening of which an insulated central shaft (3) is inserted. Each chamber is equipped with a cathode (4) and anode (5) electrodes, separated by a spacer sleeve (6). Each chamber is equipped with an individual vent (8). An electric motor (9) connected to a drive transmission mechanism (10) is mounted on the front wall of the body (1), which transfers rotary motion to the shaft (3).Sector-shaped sections of conductive sleeves are mounted on the shaft (3) in a sequence that connects the cathode (4) of the previous cell to the anode (5) of the next cell. Electrical energy is collected using carbon brushes (11a.b) and, via a wire line (12), powers the motor (9) and transmits energy to external loads. The rotational motion of the cathode and anode in the electrolyte generates friction at the electrode-electrolyte interface, effectively removing the passivation layer that forms on the electrode surface.
