Abstract

The subject of the solution is a fine-needle biopsy device for use in medicine, intended for collecting tissue material for diagnostic purposes, which combines the features of fine-needle aspiration biopsy and core biopsy, enabling the preservation of the tissue structure of the collected samples with minimal invasiveness of the procedure. The fine needle biopsy device consists of a handle (14) with a switch (13), wherein inside the handle (14) there is a drive mechanism consisting of a motor (11) powered by a battery (15), which is connected to a rack (10), which is connected to a gear (9), which is connected to an intermediate rack of the handle (4), which is connected to a rack (5) mounted on a shaft (6), which is mounted on an upper guide and through a guide carriage (7) on a lower guide, generating a reciprocating movement causing simultaneous rotation and movement of the syringe (3) with the needle (1), wherein the handle (4) is terminated with a rack on one side,and on the other hand, a syringe (3) is mounted in the holder, on which a needle (1) with a diameter D equal to the diameter of a fine needle biopsy needle is mounted via a vacuum adapter (2) connected to a micro vacuum pump (12), the tip of the needle (1) is cut at an acute angle of α<35° in relation to the horizontal plane, and at the end of the needle (1) there is a cutting slot (16) in the form of a rectangular hole with a length of - 10D and a width of - 1 / 2D, with a cutting edge (17).,
