Corner strip cutting device

Abstract

The subject of the application is a device for cutting corner strips, which is used for trimming, especially the edges of rectangular or square boards and boxes. The device for cutting corner strips is characterized in that it comprises a handle (1) in the shape of a channel, with a longer arm (2) and a shorter arm (3), in which, along their axis, oblong holes (4) are made and to which a cutting tool guide (5) is mounted. A first wing (7) and a second wing (8) are mounted to the cutting tool guide (5) by means of hinges (6), to which, on the side of the cutting tool guide (5), strip mounting modules (9) with set screws (10) are attached. On the other side of the first wing (7) and the second wing (8), feet (11) are attached, and in the upper part, the first angle bracket (12) is attached to the first wing (7), under the longer arm (2) of the handle (1), and above it, the second angle bracket (13) is attached to the second wing (8).The first angle bracket (12) and the second angle bracket (13) have transverse holes (14) in their free arms. A locking screw (15) is mounted in the transverse holes (14) of the first angle bracket (12) and the second angle bracket (13) as well as in the elongated hole (4) of the longer arm (2) of the handle (1).
