Rainwater purification device

Abstract

The subject of the application is a rainwater purification device containing filtration chambers, connecting water lines, and filters, which is intended primarily for purifying rainwater from suspended solids and bacteriological and viral contaminants, and particularly for the commercial use of this rainwater as an alternative to tap water. The entire internal space of the device is divided in the order of water flow into a sedimentation chamber (2) for settling the heaviest contaminants, connected via a pre-filter (3) to a pre-filtration chamber in the form of a first chamber (4) of pre-purified water, a proper filtration chamber (7) with a first pressure filtration system (9), a second chamber (11) of pre-purified water, and a disinfection chamber (14) with a second pressure filtration system (16). Water flows through the sedimentation chamber (2) and the first chamber (4) of pre-purified water by gravity.In turn, the first chamber (4) of pre-purified water is a reservoir of water for further pressure filtration.
