Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for processing bottom sediment, characterized in that it comprises steps in which: anthropogenic waste or solids are separated from the bottom sediment; the bottom sediment is optionally precipitated; at least one mineral additive or at least one organic additive is added to the bottom sediment; at least one aerobic microorganism additive is added to the bottom sediment; the mixture is optionally mixed; the mixture is aerated; and the mixture is dewatered, optionally aerated. The subject of the application also includes a product obtained by the bottom sediment processing method according to the invention and the use of the product as a fertilizer, soil-forming product, soil-improving product, gardening substrate, soil reclamation material, peat substitute, or construction material, or as a substrate for the production of these products.Finally, the subject of the application is also a bottom sludge processing installation, characterized in that it comprises a separation module, a precipitation module, an optional flocculant feeder, a mixer, an optional mineral additive feeder, an optional organic additive feeder, an aerobic microorganism additive feeder, a tank and at least one aerator.
