Abstract
A method for manufacturing bimetallic wires by placing an Ag core in a steel tube of Hastelloy C 22 grade constituting a casing and multi-stage drawing is characterized in that after the first compressive drawing with a reduction of 26%, high-pressure heat treatment is carried out at a temperature of 900°C - 940°C at a pressure of 990 - 1100 bar, after which a primer is applied, and then after each stage of drawing with an average total reduction of 20% - 24% at a drawing speed of not more than 0.3 m / sec., solution heat treatment is carried out at a temperature of 920°C - 930°C for 0.5 - 1.0 hour, and after each subsequent solution heat treatment, a primer is applied at a temperature of 80°C - 90°C for 1 - 5 minutes, until the desired final diameter is obtained.
