Abstract
The subject of the application presented in the drawing is a method of reactive power compensation in medium voltage receiving systems, in which on the medium voltage side the measurement signals recorded on the low voltage side are used, and the value of the power factor (cos ö) occurring in the supply system on the medium voltage side is calculated on the basis of the values of the quantities recorded on the low voltage side.
