Abstract
The subject of the application is a method for separating enantiomers, which is carried out in such a way that during the first separation cycle in the first stage, chiral chromatography (CCh) is carried out on the starting mixture of enantiomers dissolved in a first solvent, to obtain an enriched first fraction (F1CCh), the enantiomeric excess of the key enantiomer (ee) of which is from 30% to 90%. The first fraction (F1CCh) is evaporated to dryness and then dissolved in a second solvent, and subsequent achiral chromatography (ACh) is carried out on the second mixture, to obtain a first product (F1ACh), which is the pure key enantiomer, and a second product (F2ACh), which is a fraction being a mixture of both enantiomers with an enantiomeric excess of the key enantiomer (ee). The second solvent is evaporated from the second product (F2ACh), then a portion of the initial mixture of enantiomers is added to the remaining mixture and the sample is dissolved in the first solvent and then a second separation cycle is carried out with a first step with chiral chromatography (CCh) identical to the first separation cycle and then a second step with achiral chromatography (ACh).
