Abstract
Unexpectedly, a correlation was found between the risk of cancer among women with a high hereditary predisposition to breast cancer who, depending on their selenium and arsenic levels, included or excluded specific foods from their diets or took selenium supplements to optimize their blood selenium and arsenic levels, and the concentration of selenium and arsenic in whole blood. This dietary intervention indicates a several-fold reduction / increase in the risk of cancer among women with an increased predisposition to breast cancer.
