Abstract

The subject of the application is a nanocarrier based on cystamine-modified polydopamine of the formula 1:A+AL+B, wherein A is porous silica, AL1, AL2 is porous silica with an anticancer drug, wherein L1 is a hydrophilic anticancer drug and L2 is a hydrophobic anticancer drug, ALB is porous silica with a hydrophobic or hydrophilic anticancer drug covered with a coating of cystamine-modified polydopamine. The method for its preparation, which comprises three steps: synthesis of porous silica using hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS); loading of hydrophilic drugs onto the porous silica, preferably in a PBS buffer solution at pH 7.4 at room temperature using ultrasound, preferably for 10 minutes, or hydrophobic drugs, preferably in DMF at room temperature using ultrasound, preferably for 10 minutes; and coating of the anticancer drugs loaded onto the porous silica with a cystamine-modified polydopamine coating. The use of a cystamine-modified polydopamine-based nanocarrier was defined as a coating for porous nanoparticles in the process of release of hydrophobic and hydrophilic drugs initiated by external factors.
