Computer-assisted method and system for automatic balancing of an aircraft

Abstract

The subject of the application, shown schematically in the drawing, is a computer-aided method and system for automatic aircraft balancing. The computer-aided method for automatic aircraft balancing, characterized in that it comprises the following steps: a) selecting the aircraft to be balanced and the data assigned to it, constituting input data corresponding to the aircraft's operational parameters and including: departure time, flight plan, check-in closure, number of passengers, passenger seating arrangement, number and weight of baggage, number and weight of freight units, and fuel quantity; b) retrieving the configuration data of the aircraft to be balanced from a fleet configuration database, which fleet configuration contains the configuration data of all aircraft in the fleet;c) processing the input data from step a) and the aircraft configuration data by an algorithm to generate an output value of the initial load plan data and a preliminary balance report; d) delivering the initial load plan to the mobile application; e) delivering the initial balance report to the aircraft’s integrated EFB system; f) receiving input data from the mobile application in the form of a digital report of the actual aircraft load; g) receiving input data including information on the actual, final fuel quantity from the EFB system and the aircraft’s electrical navigation aids; h) verifying that the output value of the received input data from steps f) and g) was considered correct; i) processing the input data from steps f) and g) by the algorithm; j) generating the appropriate balance report; k) sending the generated report to the balance controller panel;l) sending approved data to the EFB system;
