Abstract
The subject of the application is a composite based on an aramid fabric with an aerogel layer intended especially for the palm part of a protective glove, which is characterized in that it consists of an aerogel layer, with a thickness of 1.5 mm to 3 mm, saturated with poly(chloro-p-xylylene), in the form of granulate with a particle size range of 0.1 - 0.7 mm, thermal conductivity of 0.012 W / m*K at a temperature of 25°C, wherein the aerogel layer is located between two aramid fabrics, also saturated with poly(chloro-p-xylylene), wherein the aramid fabrics are a fabric with a surface mass of 200.00 - 250.00 g / m2, thickness of 0.25 - 0.40 mm and a Panama weave, furthermore, on the outer surface of the aramid fabric there is a poly(chloro-p-xylylene) coating with a thickness of 32 to 38 µm, onto which a 2 to 6 µm thick aluminum layer is deposited using magnetron sputtering technology. The subject of the application also includes a method for producing the above composite.
