Abstract

The subject of the application is a composite based on basalt fabric with an aerogel layer intended especially for the palm part of a protective glove, which is characterized in that it consists of an aerogel layer, with a thickness of 1.5 mm to 3 mm, saturated with poly(chloro-p-xylylene), in the form of granulate with a particle size range of 0.1 - 0.7 mm, thermal conductivity of 0.012 W / m*K at a temperature of 25°C, wherein the aerogel layer is located between two basalt fabrics, also saturated with poly(chloro-p-xylylene), wherein the basalt fabrics constitute a fabric with a surface mass of 360.00 - 450.00 g / m2, a thickness of 0.58 - 0.72 mm and a 2 / 2 twill weave, furthermore, on the outer surface of the basalt fabric there is a poly(chloro-p-xylylene) coating with a thickness of 47 to 55 µm, onto which a 0.2 to 2 µm thick aluminum layer is deposited using magnetron sputtering technology. The subject of the application also includes a method for producing the above composite.
