Abstract

A fragrance diffuser essentially for aromatic, essential oils, essentially comprising a cellulose plate-shaped absorbent material which is saturated with fragrance substances and from which the fragrance is gradually released into the environment, formed from a fragrance insert in the form of a plate, characterized in that the fragrance insert is mounted in a recess formed in the front surface of a plate-shaped body (1), which is equipped with a shutter (4) in the form of a loop-shaped strip rotatably mounted around the fragrance insert, at opposite ends of the fragrance insert reciprocally inserted in the plate-shaped body (1), wherein on one half of the strip an access window is formed to the fragrance insert mounted in the recess of the plate-shaped body (1).
